Black Mirror comes to life as Netflix’s latest interactive story Bandersnatch mysteriously appeared across the UK over the weekend. Tucker’s Newsagent and Games can be spotted in Old Street station in London and Birmingham's Grand Central, showing promotional materials for some of the Tuckersoft games as featured in the film.

Netflix bringing Old Street Station to a standstill

Hundreds of fans waited in line to meet and greet creator Charlie Brooker and the cast at Old Street station as the shop's doors opened to the public for a few hours. Netflix even took over the station’s tunnels covering it in campaign headlines to catch the attention of passing commuters.

Netflix is proof that retail is media. As consumers crave experience and the cost of digital marketing is rising, more and more brands are using pop-ups as an extension of their advertising campaigns.
